Wishing and acting

We were wishing to get Lapu – lapu and Tambakol at cheap price because that is what that fish market is noted for. But we found out that it was just the same in Al Khobar, mas mahal pa nga ang tambakol e. We settled for what are the cheap items, Tilapia and Galunggong which were only almost half the price in our place.

In life, we wish for things that we have but need upgrading or improvement, things we do not have and things we hope will be better than what we normally see.

Wishing is finished, action starts. Pero wishing is the eternal fire that keeps our lives going, that keeps us from striving, that keeps us from having the energy to do more and achieve more. The wishbone will never replace the backbone, however, the wishbone is part of the backbone and can function only if they are connected.

Masarap mangarap.
