What is right and correct, is it left and wrong?

He has 3 children, 2 are in the primary grades while the eldest is in second year high school. His wife is a clerk in the office of the municipal government and his wife’s parents are living with them. Their family was able to have a better life compare with the others in their community because of his job in Saudi Arabia. He is already 3 years in our company, and a total of 6 years from two previous employers in the kingdom. Compared with his other kalahi, hindi ko kailangan ang Vicks Inhaler kasi he is clean, and proudly claimed he uses Rexona Deodorant. He is from Mormugao, Goa, India – considered as richest state of India in terms of GDP.

He told me that he plans in owning a small farm and a resort, kaya raw nag-iipon siya ng husto at gusto niya na after 2 more years ay uwi na siya for good.

“Shall I turn left Sir?”

“Right!” ang sagot ko.

Pagdating ng Urubah ay kumanan siya. Nagtaka ako.

“Why did you turn right?” Usisa ko.

“You told me Sir.” Sagot niya.

“No, I didn’t tell you to turn right.” Ang kontra ko.

“Sir, I asked you.. shall I turn left and you answered right.” He insisted.

“Yes, you asked me if you will turn left and I answered right.” Giit ko.

“That is correct Sir. That is why I turned right.” Ang ulit niya.

“Ahhh.. now I know. When you asked me if you will turn left, I answered right, which means CORRECT.”
