This happened to me (reposted from FB)

(NOTE: I am reposting this from FB account to proclaim the dedicated honesty of one Saudi guy, Mr. Salah Al Sabri – Sales and Marketing Manager of Ahmed Alwazzan & Sons, WLL. Dedicated since he really took time to find my contact number because at the back of his head, he knows I will be in deep trouble without my wallet.)

I decided to drop by an Engineering Company sa Khobar before proceeding to Aramco Ras Tanura dahil alangang oras na.

“Are you Mr. Emilio Calvario?” buong buo ang pangalan ko a.
“Yes Sir. May I know who is on the line? Anything I can do?”
“Please check your Iqama (Residence Card)”

Ano kaya iyon, traffic violation?

“I cannot find it Sir.”

“Of course, because I have your wallet.

Feeling disappointed, I was about to go out of the shop when a guy in early 30s driving a Toyota waved at us and the shop attendant told me, “he is the owner of this shop.”

The guy parked his car, introduced himself to me and asked me, “what is the color of your wallet, what are the contents, what are the other things inside it,” to which he was satisfied with my answers which I topped by showing my Company ID, Aramco ID and my business card.

Sabi pa niya sa akin, “I did not see any phone number I can call you, however, I found your Onaizi Hospital Card and I called the hospital, and they gave me your mobile number.”

Walang nabawas.

Thank you very much and God bless you Mr. SALAH AL-SABRI, isang Saudi.
