REVERSE SALES STRATEGY

Sinamahan ko ang isang kaibigan na bumili ng rubber shoes sa isang Shop na ang tindero ay ibang lahi. This guy knows me, marami na rin akong nabili sa kanya na sapatos at tsinelas (Havaiianas, Ipanema, naman) at sinamahang Pinoy para bumili sa kanyang shop.

After makapili at masukat ang gustong sapatos, tinanong niya kung magkano. Sagot ng Shopkeeper ay “350 riyals” pero ibibigay na lang ng 320 dahil nga kaibigan daw ako. Ibinulong sa akin ng kaibigan ko na baka puwede raw mahila namin sa 250.

Tumawad ang kaibigan ko ng 250 pero ayaw nung Indian. I talked to the Shopkeeper and told him that I brought a lot of customers to him, ibigay na niya sa 250.

Sumagot ito na malulugi na siya. Kahit daw magkaibigan kami, di pa rin niya maibibigay sa 250, otherwise, magaabono siya ng diperensiya.

Dinaan ko sa bilis ang bargaining para wala siya masyado time magisip.

Magkano ba ang puhunan ninyo para din a kami magtagal.

He replied sa 280 ay ibibigay niya. Akmang aalis na ang kaibigan ko, at sinabing huwag na lang kung di maibibigay sa 250, hoping na habulin nung Indian.

Mukhang walang epekto, di siya hinabol.

Then I told the Indian shopkeeper, “I see this shoes everytime I come here. This maybe 10 months already and still it is being displayed. Had you sold it already even with less profit, you could have at least rolled the proceeds of your sale for 5 times and made 5 x profit no matter how small.”

Tapos idinagdag ko, “Give it to us now for 250 and you have already disposed the product, get the money even for small profit, and have a new model on display. That is selling. That is business.” Habang kami ay akmang lalabas na ng shop.

We left the shop with the shoes purchased at 250 riyals.
