Our Projects group in nearby city sent me documents for Prequalification to a specialized contract in Saudi Aramco. Ang driver na nagdala ay di pa nakakarating sa aming office, but he was given a location map. He was supposed to come at around 8AM, but mag 9AM na wala pa and me meeting pa ako at 9AM.
The nearby city office Coordinator called me at about 9:15AM, at sinabing naligaw daw iyong Driver. I asked for the Driver’s number and called him. Sabi niya nasa may Arab Steel Company raw siya, which is pinakadulo na ng Industrial Area or roughly 5km from our plant.
Sabi ko sa kanya, “okay Sadik, just stay where you are now, don’t move”
Sagot niya, “okay Sir, I no move, I stay here.”
The driver then called me, “Sir, where are you, strong sandstorm here.”
I answered, “be there in 5 minutes, don’t move.”
“Okay Sir, I no move, I stay here long time.”
Sabi ko pagdating, “why did you not get in the car, the sand is painful to the skin..”
Sagot niya, “you said no move Sir, so I no move here Sir.”
